National Informatics Centre has developed the “Him Kavach” mobile app as a guiding tool for individual house builders willing to construct disaster-resistant houses in Himachal Pradesh, a beautiful place in the lap of the Himalayas. This region is frequently visited by earthquakes, landslides, and floods that bring havoc to individual houses not designed to withstand such destructive forces.

This app talks about how to select a safe site for construction and what to do and what not to do at different stages of construction to build a safe, durable, cost-efficient, and comfortable house that can grow to meet your future family needs.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which are accessible in the Him Kavach mobile app unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Permissions

The following permissions are being used by the app:

  The app uses the device camera to capture the image of a confiscated article.


• Location
  The app uses location permission to fetch the current location of the citizen, to know the construction zone under which the user falls.
