Privacy Policy – “Mid Day Meal (MDM)” Mobile App

National Informatics Centre, Himachal Pradesh has Developed “Mid-Day Meal (MDM)” Mobile App for Department of Elementary Education of respective State Government. Mid-Day Meal mobile app is meant for effective monitoring of daily and monthly mid-day meal data to be sent by the schools. The app provides additional data communicating mechanism for the MDM in-charge/teacher who has to send the daily/monthly data using SMS. The app is available on Play Store free of cost.

Permission used by this App:

Location: The app uses the location permission to capture the GPS coordinates of the device while submission of grievance.

External Storage & Manage Document: The app uses the external storage and manage document permission to manage access to documents, usually as part of a document picker, to upload the image from the device while submission of grievance.
Account Manager : The app uses account authenticator capabilities of the Account Manager, including creation of accounts to the Sync the data. .

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

The app captures the GPS co-ordinates of the user’s device while submission of grievance. The Department will retain user provided data for a reasonable time. This information is not available in public domain.

Misuse by Non-Targeted Users

Mobile App is meant for use by the targeted audience only. Misuse by non-targeted users should be prevented by owner of the mobile device.

Changes
