National Informatics Centre, Himachal Pradesh has developed "OxyCare Engineer (OC-MIS)" mobile app for National Health Mission, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India (GoI),for restricted use by authorized Government users working in Health Facilities across the country. The app is developed to facilitate receipt of Heath equipment being sent to the Health Facilities by GoI under PM Cares, by scanning of secure QR code pasted on item boxes. The app is available at no cost and is intended for use as is. The app is meant to be used by the authorized In-charge of Health Facilities CHC, PHC, Health Wellness Centre/Sub Centres, and District/Sub T District Hospital all over India and not by the general public. The app is available on Play Store free of cost.
The app captures authorized mobile number on which user gets OTP to login into the app. The user gets information related to Health equipment allotted to their Health Institution and can enter receipt/ installation details, report problems or otherwise manage stock of these items. This information is collected as per fields specified in the secure QR code generated for every item at the time of its dispatch from the Central Store. The information includes item type, QR code, serial number, manufacturer, date of receipt/ installation, daily status of functioning of item, problem reporting date etc. and is never made available in public domain.
