Privacy Policy

National Informatics Centre, Himachal Pradesh has developed "Safe City" mobile app for Ministry Of Home Affairs, Government of India. Safe City is an initiative of Govt. of India under the Nirbhaya funds scheme for ensuring safety of women and children. The mobile app is meant to be used by the Vendors who have been working on various Projects/Works alloted to them and the State Level Checker . The Vendor and Checker can submit their reports using the app. The app is available on Play Store free of cost.

Permission used by this App

  • Internet: The app uses internet connection and gather information about devices network availability to fetch the data.
  • Location:The app uses the location to capture the GPS co-ordinates while updating the work status.
  • Storage:The app uses the external storage permission to manage access to documents, usually as part of a document picker, to upload the image from the device.
  • Camera:The app uses the Camera permission to capture the image of the Projects/work item alloted to them.

    • Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

    The app does not capture any user information. The local app settings can be changed or removed by the user as per requirement. So as no data is captured by the app so do not need any Data Retention or Management Policy..
