National Informatics Centre, Himachal Pradesh has developed "eChallan" mobile app for Department of Finance, Himachal Pradesh. The HP Phones App contains about 8000 phone numbers of Government officials in Himachal Pradesh. The App provides features to search any number using free text/number search on name, designation and department. The Designation and Department wise search is also available. Reverse search of a phone number is by entering any number. The selected number of the officials can be dialed directly through the Dialer of mobile device of the user. The app is available on Play Store free of cost.
The app captures "Department reference number or “HIMGRN” number. The entered information is used to fetch data only and is not saved through this app. The local app settings can be changed or removed by the user as per requirement. So as no data is captured by the app so do not need any Data Retention or Management Policy.
