Privacy Policy – “ePermissions” Mobile App

NIC District Centre, Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) has developed the “ePermissions” Mobile App for the District Administration, Shimla (Himachal Pradesh). By using this app user can apply for DJ in Marriage, Permission to Hold Protest by Political Party, any function to be held by School, Religious Procession Permission, Permission to sit on strike, Permission for Vehicle to carry Material, Permission for Film Shooting etc. Citizen will apply on the app and know the status of his application, Authority will forward the application online to Police for verification and after getting NOC details from Police, the application once again will be received by Administration. Administration will approve or reject it, citizen will be able to know the status of his application and he can download the approval letter. The app is available on Play Store free of cost.

Permission used by this App:

• Internet: The app uses internet connection and gather information about device’s network availability to fetch the data.
• External Storage: The app uses the external storage permission to manage access to documents, usually as part of a document picker, to upload the image from the device while submission of application.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

The app captures Name, Mobile Number of the user as well as details provided by him/her. The Department will retain User provided data for a reasonable time. This information can be used by registered user. 

Misuse by Non Targeted Users

Mobile App is meant for use by the targeted audience only. Misuse by non-targeted users should be prevented by owner of the mobile device.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to include or deleted any content as per latest requirements. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
