Privacy Policy – “eSamadhan” Mobile App

National Informatics Centre, Himachal Pradesh has developed the “eSamadhan” Mobile App for the Department of Redressal of Public Grievances, Himachal Pradesh. eSamadhan Mobile App helps you to avail Services of “eSamadhan – Online Public Grievance Monitoring System https://esamadhan.nic.in” from your android mobile device. You can submit new application and can also access already submitted application to know the latest status. The app allows the user to save searched application offline on the device for future updates. The app is available on Play Store free of cost.

Permission used by this App:

Internet: - The app uses the internet connection of user’s device to fetch and submit the grievance.
Network State: - The app has read only access to phone state, including the current cellular network information and Wi-Fi Network.
Read External Storage: - The app uses the read external storage to upload the pdf from the device while submitting a new grievance.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

The app captures Name, Mobile Number, email, Address and Landline number as well as details related to grievance. The Department retains user provided data. This information is used by Concerned Department only.

Misuse by Non Targeted Users

Mobile App is meant for use by the targeted audience only. Misuse by non-targeted users should be prevented by owner of the mobile device.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to include or deleted any content as per latest requirements. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
